1 year ago from today Joe Faulder had a realization. Walking out of the doctor’s office after being diagnosed with a throat condition called RRP; Joe started to feel excited.
This was a little strange as Joe was a singer and a songwriter and he had just found out that he probably wasn’t going to be able to sing or perform anymore. Joe is funny like that. Joe defined himself by what he did. He was who he was because he was a musician, a performer an artist. That is when the epiphany came. Aren’t we all so much more than what we do for a living? Joe’s enthusiasm grew from realizing that the ability to pursue his chosen career had been taken out of his hands and he was free to properly define himself. He realized that all of a sudden there was an opportunity to re-examine who he was. He started to explore everything else that had always interested him but had never allowed himself to follow through with because it wasn’t music.
Through much soul searching and research Joe stumbled across Coaching. Learning more about the coaching process Joe recognized that ironicly he had been coaching since he was a teenager. With his family, friends or even fans at a gig Joe’s natural character attributes of constant optimism, intuition, compassion and enthusiasm lent themselves to being a natural coach . Joe found his calling and started to train as a life coach. Currently Joe is becoming accredited by the International Coaching Federation through the Professional Life Coach Program at the International Coach Academy.
Joe graduated magna cum laude from Berklee College of Music. Before his career as a coach Joe toured North America extensively performing in national venues and colleges.
Joe’s coaching company The No Boss Challenge was born out of a search for a niche. What was different about Joe? The answer: Joe has never had a boss. The No Boss Challenge was set up for people who are looking to take more control of their lives and create their own unique path.
